Labaik Allahuma Labaik …

(I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. All praise to you Almighty. All sovereignity is for You O Allah. Allahu Akbar!)

Hajj in its most basic meaning is an act “to continuously strive to reach one’s goal.” It is the fifth pillar of Islam.

The other four are a declaration of faith in one Allah and in Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), the five daily prayers, offering regular charity, and fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.

Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit any obscenity and wrongdoing, is considered to be reborn as pure and free from all his sins.

When Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) completed the structure of the Kaaba, Allah commanded him to call the people to Hajj. Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) pleaded, “O Allah! How shall my voice reach to all of those people?” Allah told him that his duty was only to give the call and it was up to Allah to make it reach the people.

Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam) then climbed Mount Arafat and called out in his loudest voice, “O People! Verily Allah has prescribed upon you Hajj, so perform Hajj.”

Allah revealed in the Qur’an: And proclaim the Hajj among mankind. They will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways.(Qur’an, 22:27).

To this very day millions upon millions of Muslims continue to answer the call of Prophet Ibrahim (Alaihis Salaam).

This year Alhumdulilah I am very delighted to be blessed with this opportunity to be the chosen one by the Almighty answering to the call of Ibrhaim (Alaihis Salaam) with the blessings of Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam). Alhumdulilah Allahu Akbar!
May Almighty Allah bless every momin and musalmaan and answer all our kind and humble wishes Ameen.
